Vouching

Do not vouch for someone you haven't actually traded with. A vouch is a claim that a specific trade happened and went a certain way - it's not a favor, a guess, or a way to boost a friend's score.

If you weren't personally involved in the trade, you don't have anything to vouch for. Secondhand accounts ("my friend said this guy scammed them") belong in a scam report someone with firsthand experience files, not a vouch from you.

No buying or selling vouches

You are not allowed to buy or sell vouches to anyone, in-game currency, real money, or any other item. Trust has to be earned through real trades, not purchased to make a profile look better than it is.

No false or malicious vouches

Don't submit a vouch or scam report that you know is false, exaggerated, or left just to hurt someone. A vouch is only useful if it reflects what actually happened in the trade.

No impersonation

Don't verify or leave vouches under a username that isn't yours, or pretend to be someone else in-game or in our Discord. Every vouch has to trace back to the real person who traded.

No fake or duplicate accounts

Don't create alt or duplicate accounts to vouch for yourself, inflate someone else's score, or get around a ban. Coordinated vouching between accounts you control defeats the whole point of the site.

Proof images

Any proof you attach to a vouch should be real and from the actual trade it's attached to. Faked, edited, or unrelated screenshots aren't allowed, even if the trade itself was real.

Disputes

Think a vouch about you is false or abusive? Don't try to retaliate with a fake vouch of your own, that just adds more bad data. Join our Discord and open a ticket so it can be reviewed by a person.

Enforcement

Breaking any of these rules may get you banned from Donut Trust, and vouches connected to the violation may be removed. Repeated or coordinated abuse (fake accounts, vouch trading rings, and similar) is treated more seriously than a one-off mistake.

Proposing new rules

Think a rule is missing or unclear? Propose it in our Discord before building anything around it, whether that's a bot, a script, or a workaround. Rules get added based on real problems people run into, not guesses about what might go wrong.
